Partnership with Crisis24 expands customer emergency solutions

FLIGHT DAILY NEWS – May 21, 2025. Medical services provider MD Onboard is now offering customers an array of security and crisis-related benefits through a new partnership with Crisis24.

It means MD Onboard can now help customers with more than medical emergencies.

“We partnered to extend these [crisis] services to the business aviation industry and the commercial aviation industry,” says Wehda El Aridi, chief growth officer for MD Onboard (pictured). “We’re providing a comprehensive end-to-end solution.”

MD Onboard, owned by New York state healthcare provider Northwell Health, offers a range of medical services to aircraft operators and passengers.

It provides emergency in-flight medical support through a network of doctors and paramedics, and offers crew and passenger medical assessments and medical training.

Subscribes have access to those services via MD Onboard’s smartphone app.

With the new Crisis24 partnership, MD Onboard users gain access to an array of security benefits.

Users can receive location-specific security alerts related to a range of threats – everything from political or civil unrest to natural disasters – alongside advice from security consultants.

The services also provides city- and even hotel-specific risk assessments (evaluating, for instance, a venue’s security protocols), and MD ONBOARD will now assist customers with evacuations, if required.

“In the event of any medical or security situation, [customers] will be automatically notified of the incident and then be given recommendations on what precautions they need to take,” says El Aridi.

“Together, this alliance will deliver a comprehensive, fully integrated medical and security support programme designed for commercial airlines and business aviation operators,” MD Onboard says.

Meanwhile, the International Business Aviation Council(IBAC) has added MD Onboard to its 22-strong Industry Partner Programme.
